Heart Beat Day!!!!!

Today is the day we got to hear the baby's heart beat!!! The doctor said this little peanut sounds great and we are both healthy! All my tests and labs came back normal, so that is a very good thing!! The baby's heart beat was so loud and strong, even made me tear up listening to it! The doctor said the beat was averaging about 160 beats per minute. FAST!!! Dean and I are so excted and can't stop smiling!! During our check up, the doctor recommended me (due to my age bracket) to have tests ran to check for down syndrome and spini bifida.  I am scheduled to have them done next week.  Along with those tests they will do my first ultrasound, so I will post those pictures when I get them!! The doctor did inform us that if one of these tests come back positive (which usually is a false positive), I will then have an amniocentesis.  Yeah, not looking forward to a needle going thru my tummy!! So, I am so hoping this test comes back normal, or negative, or whatever it takes to make me not have to get any more needles than I have to!!  So far so good! Now, if I can just get past this nausea!! I'm so sick of getting sick!!!

I hear wedding bells!!

So, Its not completely official as of today, but everything is set...if that makes any sense!!
We went to the gem show this past weekend and found lots of sparkly beautiful diamonds!! As we walked up and down all the aisles of different vendors there, we stumble across a very friendly man from the Diamond Exchange in NYC.  He had a wide variety of diamonds to choose from.  Dean looks at me and tells me to pick which one I like (boy was he in for it!!). I found a very beautiful loose diamond that was virtually flawless...THATS THE ONE!!! He said ok, so he bought it!!  Now I just have to wait for the "question"!!

A Fresh Start

As I'm sure most, if not all, of you know about the different adventures that took place over these last couple years in my life. Not wanting to really stir up the past, I would love to tell you about my future!! About 11 years ago I dated someone who has come back into my life once again.  His name is Dean.  I am so excited and content to have him back in my life! Not to get all mushy and ga-ga here, Dean has put that spark back in me which hasn't been for a little while. I can't wait for everyone to meet him, who hasn't already! Dean and I have some pretty big plans coming up in the near future and I'm excited to share them all with you soon!!

A New Home

We are now the proud owners of a beautiful 3 bedroom home!!!  I cannot begin to express how incredibly excited I am to finally be back in a house!!  Apartment living is great for a very short time...I think I've exhausted my comfort here!! I really am excited to have a yard where Sampson and Wrigley can run and play!! Though I'm nervous to see how well they play together, I'm sure I'm just overreacting a bit!! Fortunately they both get along well with others!
I am hoping to close on the house in the next couple weeks and start moving in.  It was pretty well kept and updated, so there wont be too much to do, other than a good scrubbing! And of course shopping for furniture and appliances! Oh how I love to shop!
I look forward to company...I will have a spare bedroom for guests!!
